Chiefs receiver Tyreek Hill will soon be on the sideline for a month or two more, but Kansas City’s Pro Bowl deep threat avoided being placed on injured reserve.
According to multiple reports, Hill won’t be allowed to do football activities for around a month and could miss. Word from Chiefs trainer Rick Burkholder is expected Wednesday.
Hill was slammed to the turf close to the sideline by Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey and didn’t go back to the Chiefs’ 40-26 victory.
Burkholder said following the game that Hill was under the maintenance of an ortho-trauma group in Jacksonville and added the group would offer a comprehensive update on his condition in”a day or 2 ”
The Hill signed to a 54m contract extension on Friday.
In Hill’s lack, Sammy Watkins caught two passes for 198 yards and 3 touchdowns and appeared as the alternative for quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
