Gary Neville assesses Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal, Manchester United, Tottenham and Chelsea Before Their Premier League’s return.

Action resumes this weekend after the global break along with the Sky Sports expert has ever had his say to those who finished last season.
Read on on Liverpool’s title fee Arsenal beginning below Unai Emery, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Man United reconstruct and difficult starts for Chelsea and Spurs.
Neville claims:”I was watching Liverpool in Burnley and I had that feeling.
“I said last year that I thought they had been a championship team. They are a tournament team. They are currently playing .
“You saw them at Burnley, plus they weren’t brilliant in the first 20 minutes, but they move and get a goal and then a second objective.
“You speak about the clinical section of a team. The defensive piece is correct, the bit that is attacking is right, and the midfield appears solid and experienced. They are a title-winning team and they were last year, essentially by everything they did”

Neville states:”If Aymeric Laporte’s harm is a severe one, it’s a big issue for City. I stated a couple of weeks back that I struggled to understand why City didn’t follow through on Harry Maguire with Vincent Kompany.
“I thought Kompany won them the Celtics in the past 10 games of last season when he played all those matches. Forget the Leicester minute that was magnificent, I believed they were held by his direction in a time just like you would not believe when Liverpool were implementing pressure. Concerning that figure, I believe Laporte has got that.
“I think that may cost City points. To be fair, there’s absolutely not any one better at training in the world full stop, compared to Pep Guardiola. And there is no one better at making what could be play well.
“I saw two Champions League finals where Barcelona’d Javier Mascherano and Yaya Toure playing with centre-back from Manchester United. So, I’m not going to sit here and make the mistake of thinking Guardiola can not turn a Fernandinho or even a Kyle Walker only since they have that a lot of this ball during matches.
“What I would say is that if Laporte is outside for quite a while, I believe it will cost City points since he’s a dominant centre-back. I saw him in Spain three occasions and he’s a excellent player. It’s a real anxiety for City. That is the one downer out of this weekend for City and when I had been a City fan it might stress me at the short-term and the medium-term, based on how long he had been out for.”
How to watch Man City this weekend: Norwich vs Manchester City is currently live on Saturday Night Football in 5pm; kick-off 5.30pm. Neville says:”I believed there was great things from Arsenal in their defeat in Liverpool. I came with a degree of sympathy out of it, thinking there was something there to build on. I haven’t always been like this with Arsenal. Against Spurs, additionally, you speak about the danger, great areas of the game, the strength but you still must mention they do seem rash and sloppy at the trunk.
“We talked about the goalkeeper, Bernd Leno’s mistake. I do trust him. I don’t think he’s anywhere near the class of the top goalkeepers we’ve got in the Premier League. The two centre-backs, Sokratis and David Luiz, are reckless.
“You can argue that Hector Bellerin has got to come back in, Rob Holding’s must come back, and Kieran Tierney has also got to return to ensure back four could be bolstered. However, you fear that back four will be for where Arsenal need to be, quite great enough.
“They somehow need to unearth a centre-back from someplace that is going to hold back that line together.
“There is still that fear of Arsenal that they look all over the place at the back when they have good players .
“We watched Tottenham produce many chances on the counter-attack against them whereas the really top teams handle the counter-attack. They don’t let teams to counter them City and Liverpool and sustain their own attacks.
How to see Arsenal this weekend: Watford vs Arsenal is live on Super Sunday from 4pm; kick-off 4.30pm. Sky Sports clients can observe clips that are in-game from the live game site about program and the Sky Sports site. Highlights are also published on the Sky Sports Football YouTube channel and the Sky Sports digital platforms shortly after the last whistle.
Neville states:”When you’ve got a young team such as the sole Manchester United have – it has got a great deal of gamers who are growing and trying to improve themselves – I believe they are going to get a lot of results like this they do OK in the game. They simply don’t have, although I thought they played okay against Southampton.
“There is a component of frustration out of United fans because of where the club are. There’s been seven decades now since that although there is still that recent history of success under Sir Alex Ferguson and there’s a component of frustration creating – actual frustration – which they aren’t on the right track.
“I believe that they are on the perfect path in terms of what they are doing because the first thing United must do, you’ve got to get a set of people in that changing area that want to be present.
“Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, in that which he’s doing, is attempting to play the long game. To play with the long game out above he will need the aid. He is going to need strong leadership over the subsequent two or three seasons to be in a position to get those four or five move windows he needs, not just to actually get people in the dressing room all facing the same direction, yet to get the caliber in that is needed. You need the quality to decide on the alignment in the dressing room.
“What Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp have done at Man City and Liverpool, it took time to get right. Guardiola 12 months, three transfer windows, since he had a much better squad in the first place were taken by it. It is taken Klopp three or four years to impact the culture entirely and get a team in what he would say is his personality, his civilization and what he wishes to do.
“It does take some time. Solskjaer is working more with a squad like the only Klopp picked up in Liverpool than the one Guardiola. From that perspective, this will be a game at Old Trafford and it’s likely to be bothersome sometimes. There will be results like Southampton, Wolves and Crystal Palace along the way, but if you watch the group a great deal of the fundamentals are right.
“They appear to be playing the ideal way. You see that target is scored by Daniel James and you find the manner by with. Its style is correct , the bones are there. But there is still a lengthy way to go and it is going to be bumpy along the way”

Neville says:”The attraction at Arsenal was a big time for Spurs. In the lead up to the match, there was an element of pressure towards Tottenham in terms of Mauricio Pochettino. There were hints that he would be on his way out. There were tips that the room wasn’t quite as it must be if you’ve seen over the previous three or four years the perfect harmony between players and coach.
“I don’t think that is not there anymore. Ultimately there’s just been some unsettling components in terms of players wanting to run their contracts down and possibly maybe attempting to leave.
“However, to truly have withstood that stress in the second-half at the Emirates prior to the international break and come away with a stage proved to be a big time for Pochettino. It’s something as a coach.
“I do not buy into this Arsenal will complete over Tottenham stuff, to be honest. There’s talk Spurs are on down the road, but I still think that they are an excellent team.”

Neville states:”Like Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Manchester United, I Believe that the same for Frank Lampard at Chelsea. We’re seeing Lampard try to change what has been a machine for the last 15 years in Chelsea. They have been a physical system that has had this experience. Youthought they understand their way around the pitch and looked in Chelsea. They’re wise, they’re mature.
“You have a take a look at this team today and it’s less expertise. It has understand how and it has youth and immaturity about it. That comes more mistakes and some results.
“Lampard is a young manager, but having made the decision to appoint himit does not seem right that they’re not going to go with them and rear them with what they are trying to do – because he’s trying to change the culture in the club.
“If you’re trying to get what Lampard’s performing, which will be bringing through the likes of Tammy Abraham, Mason Mount, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and other academy-type players, you’re going to have to give him time. That is Manchester United, and the issue for both Chelsea. They are going to need direction, they are going to have to resist some stress, particularly on social media, and stand firm. They will have to say:”We know what is being built here, it is right and we’re likely to go with this.”
